Which of these two RPGs is probably the longest? Tales of Vesperia or Lost Odyssey? And this is totally optional, but which do you prefer? Thanks for any help

I have Lost Odyssey and I have about 50 hours on the final disc. I did do some side quests, getting items, and reading some of the unlockable passages. For Tales of Vesperia check out the Gamespot review.

The length of any rpg depends on how much time you're willing to invest in side quests. It took me about 60 hours to beat lost odyssey, but that includes undertaking most of the sidequests.

Tales of Vesperia will last you the longest (I think) if you take the time to do side quests and events. I'm just about to face the final boss, have done a good amount of side items (not all of them), and am over 70 hours of playtime already. If I did every last detail and level grind like I plan on doing, I bet I could get close to 100 hours.

Haven't played Lost Odyssey yet, but it's the next 360 game on my list to play.

I believe Tales is longer, but I prefer lost odessy. I was a hyped about that game as I was FFIX (my second fav FF) but still I don't think any RPG will ever be as good as FFVII, just my opinion.

I own both. Tales is a better game and longer.

You can easily spend over 100 hours doing everything (especially the achievements) on Tales of Vesperia. Lost Odyssey is a 40 - 50 hour game.

i love all rpg games but i would have to give western rpgs the edge over *** rpg games as i just love the free roaming open worlds most wrpgs have like mass effect, kotor 1+2, fallout 3, oblivion and morrowind over stricter more linear jrpgs which i still love like final fantasy series, lost odyssey, enchanted arms. also with wrpgs if you stick to anything made by bethesda or bioware it is guarenteed to be good everything i have played by these studios is excellent
