Alright, so I have an Xbox 360 Arcade, and my friend has an Xbox 360 Elite Harddrive that he doesn't use anymore.

He's willing to give me the harddrive for free.

So, I would like to detach my harddrive, and attach the Elite's 60GB (IIRC) harddrive, but I want to keep my saved games and my gamertags, is there any way to do so? Basically, I would like my XBOX with 60GB more memory. Anyway to pull this off?

Thanks for your time and the help!

Look into getting a Data Transfer or Data Migration kit for the XBOX360. Which is just really the USB cable. You only need to do that if you have a lat of game saves you need. If the gamertag is all you need then all you will need to do is on the XBOX go to recover gamertag and you'll need to know the e-mail and password that you used when signing up for the gamertag or some other information. I've changed hard drives a lot.

Hey,

I only have one game save I need to transfer, which is Red Dead Redemption's save. Do I just copy the save on to my computer and then switch drives, and then copy it back?

Thanks!
