I have a 360 in my living room with Xbox Live, and am thinking about getting a 360 for my room.

1)Will I be able to play any certain games co-op, with my friends on the other console?

2) Will I need a new Xbox Live account (ie. need to pay for Live again) to play games online from my room, even if no one is signed into Live in the living room?

No...as long as no one else is using the account, you can just do an account recovery on the new console and transfer the gamertag... as long as you know the email and password that it's attached to

Some people just have the money to do it... my cousin has 2 360's in different rooms and hardly uses them. He also has a bunch of HDTVs that he doesn't use often... it's not fair...lol

I don't see it as a waste of money. I'm sharing the 360 with two sisters, and between our schedules, I've not been able to play for more than 20 minutes in days. I want to be able to play in the comfort of my room as well, and I wondered how to the whole Live thing would play out.

Oh, and sorry for the double post,

But will both 360s be able to go on Live at the same time, each with their own Live accounts. They'd be on one ip address, thats why I'm unsure.

you will be able to connect both of them to live (with a different account of course) at the same time... both 360s will get a different IP inside the modem (the same way you can connect +2 laptops on the same wifi modem)

If you could have a 360 to yourself, the fun is all the better.
