Yep, me. Only at Most Wanted. It's strange. I guess it's a sign there is something wrong with our X360's.

However, rebooting or opening the disc tray and closing it real fast again seems to help. Sometimes I have to reboot three times before it works or open and close the disc tray a couple of times. But it alwasy works after a short while.

If you've never seen a 360 disc do this, put it into a DVD player.

I am so angry with this issue. I bought an xbox on launch about year later it starting giving me that message and it just kept getting worse so i called microsoft the sent out the kit and i sent it in. Now i went and bought another xbox for another room while that one was getting fixed and again just a little over a year and its doing the same thing oh and the one they fixed guess what? yup the same damn thing and now microsoft wants to charge $99 for their faulty equipment to be fixed yup thanks microsoft!

btw the reason this message displays is because the disk drive is faulty

usually it means the death of your 360 is coming, i did read someone bought a disc cleaner from Kmart think it was called CleadDR something like that and it worked for them. If it happens a lot more often i would send it now before it gets any worse. i had 4 360's on my deployment do that and then it got to the point thats all they did so had to send them in

yeah dvd faulty. if u not got long on ur warranty the 1 year left then turn it in now. ive had it myself and it gets to appear more often (usually on newer games) then the games that do it will do it everytime you put it in. then it takes 10+ times to load the game and you will start to get DISC UNREADABLE messages before games. then it gets worse and disc unreadable comes up in middle of the games and brings the game to a halt. its the dvd lense. you can fix it by removing a lens from a dvd drive and putting it in the dvd drive of the xbox im told but i wudnt like to try it myself. if ms dont fix it and you dont replace the lense the other option is a new dvd drive but it needs flashing to get the xbox to accept it

Your Disc is ruined, not your drive (unless its multiple discs), its usually caused by large scratches or dents on the written info area

I bought a copy of TDU that had this problem

the problem is your eye in ur disc drive or the spinning thing has to much dust on it to spin

i got a new eye and it fixed for $50 at a store i braught it to and they fixed it while i waited and i watched them fix it

so just bring it to a store that fixes consoles, thats what i did and it reads all my games now :) and it made me happy lol i left the store with a smile on my face

Good luck.
