My 360 has all of a sudden started to become extremely stubborn. I finished a movie tonight no problem, and now when I wanted to start another movie, it says "Unplayable disc." So I put in a game, and again, "Unplayable disc". Tried another movie. Same thing. Eventually, I kept trying the same movie over and over again, and finally it started working. Have anyone of you guys experienced your system having bouts of it not wanting to read discs?

Yeah it happened to me as-well, my laser needed to be refocused. I was told by the guy that repaired it that it tends to happen when you play cheap quality cd and dvd discs (It also only took him 15 min to fix it). But if its too far gone it would need to be fully replaced.

*sigh* I really don't feel like sending it in for a fourth time... But yeah, I was a mod, but I stepped down for personal reasons.

I sent it out a month ago and im sorry to say that if you google it, it seems like other than the RROD this is the second most popular problem with the 360s
