Well, some people report a slight difference in quality, meaning that HDMI provides a slightly clearer, smoother picture. I haven't tried it, but I've seen it on a friend's TV and the difference is pretty hard to notice.. Others say HDMI makes things look darkerm but I have never seen this happen.
