R6V or Gears

I have live, and I have enough money to buy 1 game, but I can make up my mind. What whould you choose?

Gears of War has better SP, R6 Vegas has more varied, fun multiplayer. That's my opinion.gp19

R6V has a longer single player campaign though... and it's more difficult than Gears.

He's talking about Live so I guess he wants an MP game... I'd say R6V. Like this dude says, more varied and fun. And I find that a better class of gamer usually ends up on there. Or at least an older class.

Gears is fun for a bit of fast paced intense action, but once you played through it on all difficulties and played through the 3 modes of online multiplayer you do get bored of it. The co op is always fun to go back to. Without Xbox live I dont believe this game is half as good...

Rainbow Six: Vegas. It's slower-paced and has some elements from Gears. Most noticably the taking cover system but it's all about tactics. There's FAR more stuff you can do in Vegas, there's a wide variety of weapons but also... once you've finished the game you wont really wanna go back to that mode because, quite frankly, there are parts in it that are frustratingly hard -_- The online play has a lot more in it. It's got a ranking system for your created character, loads of online multiplayer modes and co op for both the story mode and t-hunt missions :)

Hm, I sound so biased against Gears lol. Both games are awesome and too different from one another. If you choose fun over realism, get Gears. If you prefer realism, using tactics and teamwork, get Rainbow.
