Hi, I was thinking of getting a new fps for the 360. Multiplayer is a big deciding factor for me, and was curious as to which, Rainbow Six: Vegas or Call of Duty 3, has better multiplayer in your opinion.

well theyre kinda different, it depends on what kind of shooter you like. imo call of duty 3 is more fun but thats just because r6 pissed me off too much and its more of a tactical shooter

R6V just gets annoying when it's online, and you can't join games.... but when you do play, its alrite... the best part about it, is the customisation of your character. But Call of duty 3 is funny online, and keeps you entertained for ages.

But it depends what you like, Tactical Shooters or the fun of COD 3 online

Well, it seems to me that CoD3 is more run and gun, which def. isn't a problem for me since I like both tactical shooters and run and guns about equally. How hard is it to find a good game with Vegas? I've heard about people getting booted before the match starts beause of their rank. Can this happen in ranked as well as player matches? (sorry for so many questions)

I love R6V. It's got so much depth to it that it will keep you playing for months. COD3 wouldn't even let me play online because my NAT on my router couldn't be opened... maybe you should rent the game, find out if you can even play online in the first place. I was able to join my friends match though, and it felt kind of shaky... spawn camping was an issue, it seemed kind of random.

I'd recommend R6V either way though, it's got alot of customization and you're proud of your soldier that you built up and ranked up. The gameplay is very fun, you've got SMGs, Assault rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, light machine guns, and pistols of course. There are plenty of gadgets like smoke grenades, flash bangs, incendiaries, frags, laser motion sensers, tear gas etc. You can customize your weapon even. You can choose what scope you want on it, or no scope at all. A laser sight too. You can put a supresser on it, for some pistols you can have an extended mag. The customization with gear is great, you can totally customize your armor. Wearing a lot of armor reduces your speed, but allows you to take more bullets obviously... but it still takes one shot to the head, or like 3-5 to the torso on ANYONE. The cover system is great, allows you to peak around corners and whatnot, always tense.  rent them both actually, best way to find out

CoD 3 is the kind of game that will keep you playing for hours upon end. I downloaded the R6 Vegas demo and found it to be very repitive, and small. And smallness isn't something I like, Infact I hate smallness. Which is why I hate gears of war. CoD 3 = bigger map size + four times more players ( I think... what is it, 6 per team on vegas right?) But like suggested, it all depends on opinion. I recommend you figure out what kind of games you like already, before deciding.
