i just completed all of the story on "realistic" in rainbow six vegas 2 and i did not get the achievement. when i first got the game i played half on casual and then the rest on realistic, and then after finishing i went back and did all the others on realistic, so when i go into "scene selection" and everything ALL the boxes are checked that i've done them on realistic, but still no achievement. i even went and did the last mission over again, watched all the credits, and still nothing. has this happened to anyone else, and is there a way i can fix it? it took me like a week to do it and i want something to show for it :(
There have been times when my Xbox signed my profile out and I didn't know it. So when I played a game and didn't get the achievement it was because I wasn't signed in for my profile. That might be a possibility.
no..this is a glitch in the game..lots of people have not gotten the freedom shall prevail achievement. im not sure why...u could pry check on the rainbow six vegas 2 board and see what they know..maybe they can fix it..

Just go through the first mission again on realistic and it should pop up at some random point

I played it through on co op with me hosting all levels. My partner got the achievement at the end of the game and I didnt. We started it again with him hosting this time and it popped up during the first level.
Ubisoft seem to be on a mission to make the glitchiest achievements going!
the same thing happened to me i went back and started the first scene of the last mission over and close to the end of that scene the achievement popped up

no kidding, i know i've killed over 20 terrorists while suspended from a rope and haven't gotten that one either, but whatever..

i know i should have, but it was my first time playing in a while so i wanted to start slow.
Have you gotten the Private 1st Class achievement? I heard that this one glitches as well (seemingly tied to having played the first game).

nope, i was a captain in the first one so i didn't get it.
