is the multiplayer on rainbow six smooth, or is it laggy. Right now I'm using the wifi adapter and getting a constant 3 out of 4 bars of one of my neighbors networks and i was wondering if it would play alright for me. I have played GRAW 2 and i have gotten disconnected a few times but halo 2 works great.

MP is smooth only if you have host with extreme connection. Otherwise there's always lag.

It is smooth and I rarely experience lag. Then again I have cable interwebs at home and like T1 in my dorm... You only really notice slight lag on player dedicated servers and 8 vs 8 matches...and more often then not it goes away.

It's smooth for the most parts but if the host doesn't have a strong connection then you'll experience some major lag. And the more players in the room, the more lag you get.

Hmmm, I sure hope it's smooth since I'm about to get it, and I'm doing so mostly for the MP component. Of course, I have to get a new IP, too.

Just play in a room with less people in it, and make sure the host is pinging green. But it's usually smooth for me. You'll get the occoasional laggy room, but if you play with no nades, it's almost gaurenteed lag free.
