I have both and i would say GEOW. But both are great games to play on Live. In fact the only reason i say gears is because ive played it more and ive only just got vegas.
got both and gears was a bit of a let down for me but r6v is exelllent(and im not saying gears isnt a good game just it fell from what i was expecting)
I have both games and I have never really got in to either. Not to say that they are bad games as they are not, but to me both just seemed like just another shooter game. So to me there are just average shooters that look great.

I'd say Rainbow 6 because GeOW gets old and it's unbalanced. Great game, but after you've clocked in around 60 hours you realize that it's the same thing over and over, not much variety. Rainbow Six games you can play for years and years until the next one comes out, they have the longetivity because of the tactical depth.

I had both games. Turned out I was playing the demo of R6 more than the retail copy of GoW that was collecting dust. Anyway I now own R6 V and have since rid myself of GoW. R6 = buy because of its huge amount of content and re playability (both online and off). GoW = rent since the single player mode is good for one play through. Multi = the crap.
