Rainbow Six Vegas help please

I am having technical problems with my disc. It will not work. It started making whirring sounds everytime I put it in, and then it would load the game with the fans barely spinning. Some of the levels would not load, but the multiplayer would. Eventually, it would come up with the Unreadable disc error. I tried everything from rubbing alcohol, which had worked on previous discs, to buying a scratch remover and disc cleaning set. Nothing worked. Then I asked about it on these forums, and somebody suggested that i put toothpaste and hot water on it, swearing that it worked for his disc. I tried it, and it has made my disc worse because now the disc will not load at all. Suffice to say, I think I just got pwned. Now, all there is on the disc is scratches. Could anybody give me a link to where I could send the game to get it repaired by Ubisoft? And all of this happening when the downloadable content becomes free.:cry:

where did you buy it? i suggest you go back to the store and ask to exchange it for a new copy.

i believe any store will do that, just not give you you're money back.

if that fails, maybe youre 360 is broken...

hope you get it workin, cause its a great game.

BTW, next time someone youve never met tells you to put toothpaste on a game disc, politely thank him and ask someone else.:D

Well, I can't return it. I bought it at the GameStop at my local mall, and that was back in December. I don't think I have the reciept either. So even if I returned it, they probably would not let me exchange for another copy. My 360 drive is not broken because all my other games work fine, and like I said the disc has scratches all over it, which is strange because I keep all my games in good condition. Thanks for responding, though.

well, most stores that ive dealt with let you exchange the disc for an identical copy.

i would suggest talking to the manager, but if you bought it in dec.., they might not do anything.

If you bought it in dec., did it ever work? did it just now get scratched up?
