random but . . . your thoughts on shadowrun

is it fun? does it have single player? do people still play online? should i pick it up? its only like 20 bucks

Its a very very fun online game.

Might be hard for some to learn it and get good at it, but once you do its alot of fun.

Its unlike any other online game that ive ever played before.

Very fun if you have a few friends to play with though.

Dont expect a singleplayer game though, as its ONLY online based.

Probably the most underrated multiplayer FPS this gen imo.

You should pick it up! There is ALWAYS games going on. Not a ton of games, but Ive never put the game in and not been able to find a game to play.

For 20$ I say get it!

kozzy1234 has hit most of the important tidbits about this game. I agree wholeheartedly, this is a great underrated game.

Keep these two items in mind too:

1. The game can be played with bots. So, if you have a friend or two that also have the game, you could all play on the same team against a team consisting of only AI players. On easy, the bots are push-overs, but change the difficulty and you'll get a very challenging game.
2. A little clarification on the multi-player, on-line only situation with this game. There is no single-player campaign, which is what I think killed this title in the popularity department, but it's not 100% correct to call this an on-line only game. There are a handful of tutorials that advance you through the different controls and aspects of the game, and these are off-line, single player "missions". Once you get through the tutorial "missions" though, you'll need to get on-line to play anything worthwhile.
