well whaqt the hell do u expect??!?!? its FREE, your complaining about something thats FREE!!!! seriously think that overOrcsP2It's a demo. Its purpose is to give prospective players a chance to see the best that the full game offers with the intention of exciting prospective buyers to get it. It doesn't exactly send the best message when you can't even play the demo because someone was inane enough to forget that some people like to play solo, or don't have auto-renewing XBL subscriptions. All this does is just scream of the other bad game design choices that the full game itself may have.
you could just buy the gamemohfrontline:|

this argument can only be used so many times until it starts to sound more like an excuse.
...what? EA didn't have to come up with a demo, and they gave us one. You can't complain about something that's free. I don't understand how it's and excuse if they provided us with something for free?...what? EA didn't have to come up with a demo, and they gave us one. I don't understand how it's and excuse if they provided us with something for free?karristonIf you're going to go through the added effort to create a demo, then it would be in the dev's (and marketer's) best interests to create a product that shows off the best of what the game is to offer the player and make it as realistically accessible as possible. The fact that I cannot even try to play it because of EA's epically boneheaded decision that I have to be able to come up with a second human being to play with (and/or a Gold subscription) only goes to hint to me that they apparently don't want people to be able to see if the game is any good, much less buy it in the first place. Which from a business perspective, such a half-hearted, bone-headed decision is excessively counterintuitive and undermines the potential success of the game in the market. However, after seeing Yahtzee's review, I suddenly don't feel so bad.

but he shouldnt be complaining because its free? see how that argument holds no grounds for this issue?

Just be glad you don't have to buy magazines anymore to not be able to play demos :p

No, not at all. They make a demo and if it's not something you can do then just dont download it. Or delete it when you find otu that you cant use it. There are plenty of online only demos that silver members cant play either. This game is all about two players and the demo is sepose to show the best of the game.

come on.
the demo is free
the membership is free
and you can also get a friend that has a control to come over....for free?
or go shell out 10$ to go rent it?
There isn't a blockbuster or any of the sort around here to go rent anything. Otherwise I would have a lot more games listed on my "played games" list. Also, none of my friends live close enough to play with me. And my g/f doesn't have a 360 yet. :( :cry:come on.

lol thats EA for you but wtf if you got internet i think you should have gold you cheapo
only time some one with 360 should not have gold is when they got no internet or dial up and if u cant play co op then you must not have friends
Shows how narrow minded you are. There are plenty of awesome games on the Xbox 360 that don't require multiplayer to enjoy. Or are you completely discounting Mass Effect, GTA 4 (when it finally does come out, because let's face it, even if it did have multiplayer it would just turn into an even worse MP than Countersuck), and Ninja Gaiden II as games that are (or should be) good? I don't have Gold because I'd rather that $50/year go towards an extra game in my library than towards being able to play a mode I hardly play at all. If a game's SP sucks, there's no way I'm going to stick around long enough to play the MP. And after the debacle that was Halo 3, there is no way I'm paying money just to go babysit a bunch of whiny little douche bags who either cheat like crazy or scream profanities in your ear with no real way to silence them for good during the match. Only way I was able to tolerate Halo 3 long enough to get the MP-only achievements done was to basically unplug my mic when I couldn't find anyone willing to help.lol thats EA for you but wtf if you got internet i think you should have gold you cheapo
