They're not that good anymore. Their Nintendo 64 games were awesome but now they're just so-so. I played the Perfect Dark Zero demo and it was fun, though.

Rare... They used to be my favorite development house when I was growing up. I think I'll go with Perfect Dark. To be honest though, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts is actually a pretty decent game if you're into user-created content.
Neithe rboth suck hard only games rare made any good was and OO7 Goldeneye everything else is just a sham and totally sucks. For example Perfect Dark Zero

This is sad, they used to be so great, now look at them, making ok games. I really want a Perfect Dark 2, and it'll probably be better than Perfect Dark Zero, but I don't know if it'll be that great.

It was May 22, 2000, even Gamespot and Wikipedia listed that date as well. If it came out in 1999, what day was it then? And I want Killer Instinct 3 as well.

Some of the criticisms given so far have been ridiculously harsh,
as it happens I've been playing Nuts & Bolts recently, and I think it's a very enjoyable title, definately keeps some of the Rare charm, not that it compares with the original Banjo Kazooie.
As for Viva Pinata I have yet to sample it, but I cant see any reason for it to be as badas people here are claiming

Yeah, hype did kill Perfect Dark Zero for me since I loved the original Perfect Dark so much, though it's not as bad as everyone says, there are much worse FPSs out there(Hour of Victory, Conflict Denied Ops, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty to name a few).
For me their best games are Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye 007, Diddy Kong Racing and Conker's Bad Fur Day. Also Battletoads (the arcade game) was great, unfortunately it's been years since I last played it. Would be nice if Rare decided to release any of these games for Xbox Live Arcade.
