Finally bought myself a few new Xbox games after having not played the thing since last August. Thought I'd let all English Xbox owners know that Viva Pinata is 8 quid at Zavvi and Kameo is 5 quid at GAME, both brand new and both totally worth the money.

My xbox didn't half smell like it was on fire when I turned it on, must have been packed with dust or something

If this hasn't already been said: Quid = pound (£). I'm surprised people haven't heard the expression. We Brits know the various slang terms that Americans use for dollars and whatnot.

I especially liked the "where do you live" part... like England is some obscure nation like Andorra

Sorry for the confusion guys, I put quid because when I type the pound symbol GS says my HTML is not well formed and won't let me post. Although I did think most people knew what a quid was, I know alot of slang terms for dollars and I've never been to America, I thought it worked both ways.

LOL

It's that new map of the world they are teaching in American schools. The world consists of America in the middle, surrounded on all sides by a mysterious land known only as "rest of the world". In Rest of World they are a primitive race that don't speak American, and England is located somewhere near the sign for "Here be dragons"

:P :D

Loonie is the name Canadians gave the gold-coloured, bronze-plated, one-dollar coin shortly after its introduction in 1987. It bears images of a common loon, a well-known Canadian bird, on the reverse, and of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

I call pounds 'squadron leaders'. They lead a squad of 100 pennies. Speaking of differences in culture, do any Americans play Pro Evo Football (soccer) by Konami? Also, did any Americans see that episode of Family Guy where Zidane (french footballer) knocks an old ladies door, head butts her, wicshes her happy birthday and drops a cake on her body? And if so did you understand the reference.

Thanks
