Review...an update? How about I just tell you how I feel about it? I like how they got rid of almost all of the glitches, and I like Annex a lot, but I hate how you can't get achievements by playing Annex in ranked matches.

No acheivements for Annex means very few people will play it over a week, but other than that it's a pretty good gametype. But seriously they screwed something up because I feel like i'm glued to all the walls. I can't even roadie run without getting stuck to something unwillingly. That's really annoying.

lol that cause they trying to fix the glitches like roadie run (personaly i like getting achievement but could care less and i really enjoy it)

i totally agree they didi a good job with the glitches on getting rid of them Yupp forgot to mention the glitches they got rid of. ya hated that in the ranked matches
There is a serious issue with Annex. When people quit, there is no hope for the lesser team. It is far worse than losing a player in Warzone. You can still win with one less guy. But, it was fun when everybody stayed.

the game type is really fun but the thing that sux about the update is that now everytime ur running you'll get stuck to the wall a lot...and i hate that. Now they'll have to fix that
Annex is a great new way to enjoy GoW, possibly the best one made yet. Also, the Lancer getting higher damage is a great thing, shooting people with it is an actualy viable option now.

the new game mode is pretty fun. it is intense and i like that. as for the patch they did a horrible job. i can still do every glitch if i want to. the weapon slide glitch is actually easier to do now. and i get stuck on every wall i run by. i mean it is as if the walls have magnets on them. the patch was suppose to make it to wear you get stuck to cover less often. not all the time. annoying i say annoying.
i am not saying i support glitches but i do say they should have left in the chainsaw yourself glitch. that one use to crack me up! wish they would bring that one back. if anyone still knows a way to do it please mail me.
I think the Game type "Annex" is pretty fun for the most part but it does also have down sides to it. The unlimited respawns are sick as hell! however the patch on the Glitches suck. Its too easy to die now. And have you guys noticed that its way easier to get stuck on stuff now that sucks! A positive thing about Annex would be the faster respawns on the weapons. That right there is really helpful. But i do think Epic should have spent a little more time planning this out.
I'd give it about a 7. The update supposedly fixed some glitches, but there's a ton still there (chainsaw, weapon slide). Also, they screwed up the roadie run now so you get stuck on every wall - when I thought there was no need for a change. Overall it would be a very mediocre to cruddy update, but it did add a new gamemode, which you don't see often in updates. Annex is pretty fun in player matches, although it's laggy sometimes & pointless on ranked.
I give this update a big 1. They completely and utterly failed at everything they tried with it. Not only are the glitches still there, some are even easier to perform now. Also, the roadie run has been destroyed. Trying running from the top of Escalation down even one level without getting stuck to something, its nearly impossible. I do like the new game type but no achievements??? Come on people, thats the best part about respawns is all the kills and they don't count for anything? I think thats just silly.
*TIP* If you hold the left stick away from a wall when rodie running, you won't stick to it. No idea why they didn't keep it the same though, I was fine with the way it was : /
