[QUOTE="AtomicBaconBits"]People keep complaining about how John died, but it was realistic. If they had done a cliche,ride-off-into-the-sunset-happy-ending,I would have been pissed.Plus the mission where Jack gets revenge was badass(especially if you're wearing The Legend of the West outfit).
But it was pretty obvious from the beginning that the agents were just using John for their dirty work, and they were planning on finishing him off anyways once he was done.Overall, the ending was very good, and I'm glad they did it that way.
I'm agreeing with this too.
It's a twist for the story and this is what I call a Rockstar ending. The Agents already wanted John dead from the very moment he stepped into Blackwater but only John can get close to his former gang members without being shot dead within seconds. Wished i could've killed Ross in a better way than just a duel. :/
When John looked thru the doors, and sees about 3, i was ready to take them all down but when he opened, MAN was i shocked. Before i tried, i knew John's road ends there.
Jack, for a start can get uneasy since the time spent with John and his character building is so much that a sudden change will upset the player (Maybe that's what R* wanted us to feel?) But as time goes by, i'm already fine playing as Jack. I still miss John but Jack isnt so bad once you spent some time with him
