I constantly am hearing people say they are getting the RE5 bundle and getting rid of their elite xbox 360 and my comment to them is are you stupid. The RE5 is for those without an Xbox 360 and for anyone like me who still has an original xbox 360. I am getting this after pricing the 120 GB hard drive I wanted and the Red remote plus the price of RE5 all that put together came close to the price of the RE5 bundle. If I had an elite I wouldn't care about this at all and would just buy RE5 but since I don't I fell this is the best deal that is available to me.
Agreed with OP.. I'm thinking about picking one of the limited edition re5 themed 360 deals.. I have an original premium, and have about 750 mb of space left on my harddrive so its either a new 360 which i could use the warranty and new controller + game.. or 150 for just a hard drive..which seems like a complete rip off.
I just bought a new Jasper Arcade, and it is working great.
If I had known about this deal I would have waited. I have a 20 gb HDD from my last 360, and I'm really out of room on that baby! The 120 gb HDD would have been really nice, and the packaged game as well.
I guess I'm just buying the game, but if you are looking to replace your xbox, this is a heck of a deal in my opinion.
Does anyone know, will these systems have the Jasper chipsets in them?
I was planning to spend about $100 on RE 5 Limited Edition game itself. I'm selling my old 360 for $200 and from what I can save because RE 5 is free in the Elite Bundle, that makes $300 and the bundle is only $400. I only have to come up with an extra 100 bucks to get the extra memory (which I need and costs about 100 bucks online for anyways), and the LE Xbox w/HD cables (which if anything like the Halo Edition, will be worth more than the average Xbox of similar quality because it is LE, but still the same price when I purchase it). That's really not a bad deal...
I just put $120 down on my preorder for this yesterday and im putting $200 more down today cause I just sold my old xbox to a kid at my work. Im really excited for this and I totally understand if someone who had an original elite wanted this since its a limited edition and maybe they want a funky colored console like me lol. I was planning on getting an elite soon anyways and RE5 the day of its release, so this bundle is as good as it gets for me. I just wish it had the "5" logo from RE5 in black on the side of the console or something written on it. I got the MGS4 gunmetal PS3 and it just has "Metal Gear Sold 4 limited edition" written small at the bottom....something like that at least would of been cool.

people will spend their money how they want, I have an elite from day one. I upgraded over my original 360, so I can understand where you come from. But I will not be getting the RE360 1 because I think its ugly lol and 2 this may be the frist RE game I don't buy, I just don't like the game controlls. its time to make them work better capcom, it may just be me but after playing RE4 on the wii I dont see why they can't improve on the controlls. But If you or anyone wants to buy it Im sure they have their reasons.
I have an xbox 360 but it has the E-74 error.By the time I get the money to get an elite the RE5 bundle will probably be gone,or being sold on ebay for 1000 bucks lol.
