really confused and angry.... sbout achievements

ok I swore i read somewhere or something that a game can not add more achievments that are worth points. they can add them if its worth 0 points. but star wars unleashed and gears 2 added new achievements worth points. wtf i thought they cant do that? man some games i get and get the 1000 then return now they have more achievemtns. common someone explain

Its so people will want to play the game longer and not just give up on it.trw534

I understand what you mean.. I like to do that as well... I don't know why they do it, but I do think if the add new achievements.. they should ALWAYS be worth something.. I mean what the heck is the point.. go through all that progress and then the achievement is worth NOHTHING. that is why elder scrolls 4 is my all time favorite game.. EVERY achievement is worth something.. and well balanced and not all lazy like dead rising all the achievements are all different amounts.. I have 1000 points for a few games...

But I never heard the thing about not being able to put new achievements up only if they are not worth anything

I'm with you man. I noticed that it it made me so angry I just lost it and thew my Xbox against the wall as hard as I could. It put the big hold in the wall and broke part of the window next to it. It made such a loud sound that my neighbor called the police and my landlord evicted me.

So now I'm thinking about suing Gears 2. I mean just like you said, how can they do tha crap?? Its there fault!
