spoiler alert:

I'm trying to do a good playthrough, so as king I'm making all the good choices. However, that leaves me with no treasury money so I was planning on donating it from my huge fortune gained through owning properties. I had like 8 million, but before I went to donate it, I accidently walked into the throne room. Ok, NBD I made a couple of rulings but then without warning the game skipped foreword 120 days to the day of the attack, not leaving me time to donate my money. As such, all the civilians died. Pretty annoying that I got no warning about that huge jump. Anyway, is there any way to repopulate albion? I still need some achievements that you need villagers for.

I know what you mean man, really annoying when it jumped as i didn't quite have enough money and was waiting until more amounted. I've not played since (unfortunatley IMO it has no replayability) but i heard that after a while citizens will start to respond,so try sleeping for a long time. Not sure how much truth there is in this though!

I had the exact same, when I read it skipped 120 days I WTFED so hard. This is a real "what were they thinking?'' moment. I don't think there's a way, Lionhead studio's are for real now when talking about consequences of your actions. I luckily found out on time, I actually read about the 120 day thing online. It pretty much fails.

I read about the 120 day thing before it happened, but I guess the reason they did it is that you have to pay for your actions, you can't just make loads of good decisions then be a massive amount of debt, they we're hinting alot that you need money in your treasury throughout your rule, it doesn't take much to run to the treasury and donate some money. But if it ended without me filling my treasury then I would be more then a little annoyed.
But yeah I heard sleeping helps.

I knew about the money needed in the treasury, and I had it all saved up. I was planning on donating it all at one time right before the attack. I did not expect the 120 day jump, which was the particularly angering part. Had I known, I could have gotten all my money in sooner and saved all the people of albion, thus having my cake and eating it too.

I don't think sleeping helped, think it was an amount of real-time time. I did sidequests and achievements etc. Of course I missed one achievement, thinking I could get a fine being a king. NOPE.

Yeah, I haven't played Fable 3, but I know it has a bunch of problems like this major jump.

If you're willing to restart you could do what I did and give all your gold you have now to a friend and then have him/her give it back to you after you make your new character. On my new file I started off with roughly over 1 million gold, so that will help when it comes time to donate to the treasury.

SAME! except i had already donated enough so only about 30-40% died...:/ I had several complaints about this game...
