Reasons for choosing the Xbox 360 in the Nex-gen war

• loved the original xbox had to get the new one
• PC have to be constantly upgraded to keep up with new games
• Halo 3, gears of war, mass effect, devil may cry (take that sony), grand theft auto, bioshock, forza 2, PGR4, so many i couldnt list them all if i tried but you can try if you like.
• Xbox live with its great multiplayer, updates to games and dashboard updates, download content, trailers, movies, demos, xbox live arcade and great community with a simple friends list not that crap with friend codes or game specific friends that the wii and ps3 have.
• great accessories i would recommend the racing wheel for racing fans but wait for forza
• does not make you buy the hd dvd player but makes it an add on smart move
• the price was a little high but i thought it would be worth it and i am sorry for those who's 360 has broken but i have had no problems and its a launch console.
• Ps3 higher cost not much better than 360 other than it has RRRIIIDDGE RAAAAACCCCCER AND REAL TIME WEOPON CHANGE but seriosly though i am just not interested in there games
• As for the wii my brother bought it and i have to say some of it is fun if you give it a chance and besides how can you say no to mario.

I'm not a soldier in a stupid video game war. I have a 360. I have a Wii. I'll get a PS3 when they release games worth my money. This taking sides nonsense is stupid. You miss out on so many good games by doing that.bdhoff

I have 360, PS3 and Wii

So far 360 is the only one to disappoint.  Breaking after 4 months is not my idea of a good gaming system.

I purchased my 360 because of price (in comparrison to what the PS3 was gonna be). However, after the death of my own 360 after only 14 months of use and reading the seemingly endless horror stories of broken 360's, I'm leaning toward purchasing a PS3.

Ok these stories are only by ppl who post on gamespot. I'm pretty sure majority of 360 consumers dont use these forums, that's why I think you just have plain bad luck.kslay88

 You're not "pretty sure" of anything. For all you or I know, the posters here represent all Xbox 360 users around the country or world for that matter. I know it hurts to see so many people complaining about this console, but the proof is in the pudding, as they say. Bad luck? You're hoping so. I don't agree. I belive that the posters here are realizing how problem-prone this console is. Here are two points I want you to consider:

1. These negative posts are being posted IN AN XBOX 360 FORUM. What does that tell you? That tells you that it's the 360 owners, like you, who are complaining. Not evil PS3 "fanboys" trying to corrupt the minds of teenaged-360 owners.

2. Pointing out the problems gives us, collectively, the power to possibly change a bad situation. Should we be hiding the truth? No. We should demand our money's worth, and part of that is being honest about a bad product or experience.

And dont forget some other great stuf!!!!!

-Constant system freez=Messed up 360's

-Loud DVD Drive noises when playing is great also.

-Paying for online is cool too 50 a year could be a new game but i need online YAAAY!=Sarcasm

-HD DVD are winning the format wars.......NOT BLUE RAY is

- Little scratches on games make it impossible to play the game YAAAAY!

-It has a web browser????OOOH i forgot it doesnt HAHAHAHAH

-20 GIG hard drive is great i ran out of room with only 10,000 songs and a cuple games.PS3 still have 40 GIGs left HAHAHAH

-Wireless online free??Nope need to by a wirless adapter HAHAHAAHAH.

-HD DVD drive included?? NOpe need to spend more money on a HDDVD drive HAHAHHAHAHHA.
