I bought it so I could play Halo 3 with 4 of my friends that all live in different parts of the country.

1: PS3 Wasn't out yet

2: Even when PS3 came out it was gonna be more expensive

3: Gears of War

4: I've always been more of a Microsoft fan than a Sony fan

I still don't have a PS3, but I love my 360

had the original XBOX and i prefered the controlers

For jumping in.... The reason is because first I've got a Wii. Later, I started to feel the need of playing Hardcore games. _.-_

I had a bad computer at the time and wanted to play games like Condemned and Call of Duty 2. Plus Perfect Dark Zero.

1,Fallout3，Iwas planning to buy a 360 since I know Fallout3 would be on it.(Though GTA4 and some other game were great,but not that attractive to me as Fallout.)---This is my personal reason.

2,Straightly,360 is more close to our life.That one we can afford...in CN.

For its exclusives.

Personally I'd rather have a PS3, but I've had 3 360's (got rid of them for various reasons) mostly because friends have it and I prefer the online interface opposed to sonys so far.

Been playing xbox for years and i'd played alot of xbox 360 at friends house so yeah i had quite a bit of money saved and wanted to get rid of it then xbox 360s happen to be on really good specials.Then 2 months later i discovered xbox live and thought okay cool popped in Gears 2 for a match on horde...My god i was blown away, one of the best experiences i've ever had in a game.

1. Halo 3 - Yeah I did buy the original Xbox for Combat Evolved (haven't regretted that decision) so I thought might as well carry on the tradition.

2. Mass Effect - Huge reason. I'd already fallen in love with KoTOR, so ME was the obvious choice of game to play, and it just furthered my will to buy the 360.

3. Hell's Highway - Although I never actually ended up playing HH for 360 (bought a new PC just before it came out), I still hold Road to Hill 30 as my favourite WW2 FPS, so I really didn't want to miss out on the continuation of the story. Plus, the 2006 ads looked so, so awesome >_>

And I think everything else I have for 360 is just bonus. I was one of the first of my friends to pick up at 360 (one guy had it since launch, since he had a few "benefits"), and the following LANs got the rest of the guys to buy 360s (we pretty much all had the original 'box though).

I used to be a hardcore Nintendo fan but dont like what theyre doing now, so Capcom is officially my favorite developer now. RE5 and SF4 were the biggest reasons for me to get it. I also want to play deadspace and alan wake

Like theabove poster i used to be a hardcore nintendo fan but knew they were going soft so i bought the xbox and haven't regretted my decision.

I was a huge fan of Xbox 1 and console modding.

I found an Xbox 360 Core the day they were released in UK and just had to pick one up, took me about a month to find an in stock harddrive.

I can't remember my first games :(

P.S I'm onto my seventh xbox now.

i reasearched it and games looked better than on ps3 and it was WAY cheaper. i will never regret it absolutely love it. and im still on my 1st one.

Splinter Cell: Conviction.....2 years ago.....it's been a long wait but it's almost here....

I needed a next gen console but the PS3 was far too expensive at the time.

I purchase all consoles at launch. Some I regret and others I don't... like the 360... like it very much! :D

at first it was because i couldn't get a wii because it was sold out now im glad i have it over a wii. The games are great, and the xbox live service is awesome

I had an xbox, and loved some of the games, so I wanted the backwards compatibility when I upgraded to this generation of consoles. I also liked the game selection that I saw coming out. I'm very glad I got my 360.

1: had just stopped playing wow(the summer 2007)and didn't knew what else to do

2: the price on the playstation 3 waas too high otherwise i would have bought that

3: now there seemed to come a lot of games i felt like playing..orange box, halo, gears, bioshock etc....a year before there was nothing but gears so i wouldn't have bought it then

i am still glad that i have it cause of all the great exclusives..alan wake and spintercell /drawl...but i am gonna buy a ps3 soon also cause it is starting to have some pretty awsome exclusives too!

WOW...old as it could be...

My PS2 broke and I wanted to get a new generation system. The PS3 wasn't BC and the 360 was cheaper, so I just got a new PS2 and a 360 (which would have been cheaper than a BC PS3 anyways). All in all, price and not being BC were the biggest factors for me getting a 360 (if the PS3 was BC, I would have gotten it). I'm glad I got the 360 though. Master Chief is my new hero!
