My powerbrick keeps turning red instead of green and it shuts my console down. I then have to unplug it, then boot up the 360 again, and it does it again? Is it just my power outler, or is something up with the syestem?

move your power brick away from the 360 where it can get plenty of air.

put a small box under it so air can circulate around it.

no that is the workst thing you can do... when i first had my 360 i would unplug it at night... only to find that when ever i pluged it back in the the red lights would come on my 360. but as soon as i stopped unplugging it the console was fine.

You should have bought a PS3 and saved your time with this garbage brick and 4 or 3 red lights shyt! Lol, JK... well sorta.

Here is your answer, the 4 red lights mean your A/V cable is not plugged in or it is loose. Pull it out (blow the dust off of it like I do) plug it in (tightly) and viola, start gaming.
