I'm getting a Xbox 360 soon and i was wondering if the newer 360s have fixed the red ring problem. And if it does happen will they fix it, warranty or no warranty?

From what I understand there's now a standard 3 year warranty on Xboxs provided by Microsoft...I'd buy the 360 from Bestbuy and buy their warranty, then when it breaks you just take it there and get a new one right away

Is the 3 year warranty for 360s or regular Xbox.

It'd only for the ring of death. If anything else fails on the console after the standard 1-year warranty runs out, you have to pay to get it fixed.
