Hi.
I've recently started playing ME2 again, after some time completely without playing it at all and I've noticed something. Now that I am familiar with the plot and I am not overwhelmed by the action or amount of content in the game, I seem to be enjoying it a little different. I notice more stuff now and I've come to realise that I feel I'm playing a sci-fi cartoon. A good one, thank you! I think so, anyway.
I'm seeing new things or seing things in a different way (I don't know, maybe both?). I need to point out; not many games can brag about this feature, in terms of replay-value. As you noticed, I like it and I want to know: Has ME2 given you this experience? Or type of experience similar to the one just described? If not, has any other game provied it? Tell us about it
Happy Holidays

Actually ME2 gave me less of a feeling of having stuff to do than ME1. The planet scanning was boring, heck MAKO driving in the first one was kind of boring (exploring the planets and such) so i thought BioWare will do something about this in the second one. Well, they ruined it completely. I agree with you that there is an enormous amount of content but all in written form (codex). This is similar to Dragon Age Origins, you know, being the same developer and all.
I honestly thought that Mass Effect 2 was a tremendous game, but i was very disappointed with the side missions and all RPG elements at all.
Take a look at Fallout 3 or New Vegas. You get overwhelmed by the amount of content, side quests stories and overall history. But how do you receive and assimilate Fallout's content? By doing extra missions, participating in somewhat short but knowledge-full conversations. In ME2 you got to read, read, read...
