I want to rent an Xbox 360 to try out bioshock. I've heard you can rent one from blockbuster, does anyone know how much this costs and how long you can keep the xbox for?

You can rent Xbox 360 games, you can't rent the console, they don't keep any in their store, and they'd be idiots to do so. So no, if you want to play Bioshock, then you're going to have to buy the 360, which is exactly the point.

I haven't seen a console being rented out since the Playstation and N64, i think they completely stopped doing it. I suggest saving up and buying an Xbox 360 then renting Bioshock.

Blockbuster hasn't rented out consoles since the 16bit days. They used to be on a rack in big blue plastic cases.

I want to rent an xbox 360 myself too I was thinking blockbuster still did that since they did with playstation. So what if people stole the systems the console price as a deposit would mean they could buy that console back if someone stole it so I dont see why they cant have a 360 dollar deposit or whatever it costs to rent an xbox 360.

In and around San Jose, CA you can rent next gen systems for $25/week from 2g4g.com. I just rented from them last week and went crazy on GTA IV for a week. It was awesome. I burned a hole in my brain. Yeah...h-huh...cool.

There might be a service like that in your area. I googled "rent xbox 360 san jose" to find 2g4g.

These guys are right. Both Blockbuster and Hollywood told me they haven't rented systems out since SNES.

Someone on Yahoo answers suggested buying one from Walmart, playing for 30 days, and then returning it. Apparently Walmart has a no-questions-asked 30 day return policy on the system, although not on the games.

Also, once upon a time Nordstrom (yes, the department store) had a no-questions-asked, take-anything return policy. They famously had a warehouse full of houseplants and spare tires and other stuff they didn't even sell (this is not BS. My friend Regina worked there in high school). I think you should investigate that. Buy an xbox 360 somewhere else and then dress up real nice, act dignified and artistocratic, and try to return it to Nordstrom.

There's a store around me (Rent-A-Center) that will allow you to rent one. I'm not sure of the price becauseI only rented a PS2 some years ago when I sent mine off to get fixed.

I was thinking of the exact same thing. The only thing is it might be around the same price as Rogers just so they can benefit from that price. It might not though, check this place out if there's one close by.

I actually have a few around me but they are so overpriced but if you rather rent one then buy then I think those are the only two places you can go.

YES YOU CAN, you need a debt card with a limint on the card of 250 bucks, they only take this if you never come back.

Not all stores do this but mine does in Blackpool.

they started doing this when the sage saturn came out.

Dont listen to the people who just make things up to sound clever or have a opnion.
