I was just thinking (may, may not work) what if MS let you "rent" games from the dashboard, kind of like Games On Demand. Like a couple MS point/credit card to get the game for a week or 5 days. Do you guys see this as something that COULD happen, and work?

.. This is actually a really good idea imo... but they would proably make it overpriced sadly.

I could see something like that happening. I wouldn't use it, though.

That is exactly what I was gonna say. They would charge you like 14 bucks for 5 days. But if it was like 5 bucks for 5 days.

I highly doubt they'd offer this because they're all about the money. They'd rather have people buy their overpriced games on the dashboard

Nope I buy my games and find renting them to be a waste of money. As for the price it would probably be around 800 points.

If they added it I would definitely use if. Especially if you could get the achievements for the games while only renting them digitally.

Game sales would probably plummet if Microsoft presenting a cheap and easy way to rent them online unless they only put old games up for rental like they do with Games on Demand.

How does that make sense? I rent my games all the time, and games still do good. Look at MW2. Renting will not kill a good game.

price would definetly be an issue i mean if you try buying games on here its like £20 or woteva in dollars wen u can buy games cheaper else where for half price so if they over price old games then for renting new would be mental

@smcgothboy

You do not charge more for renting a new to old game. Go to your local blockbuster Stranglehold will rent for the same price as MW2.

my thoughts exactly although not a bad idea i dont think it will happen due to the fact they will lose alot of money. Microsoft will and do want us to pay for full price games it would just kill the industry.

I always buy my games, no need to rent them here. However it's surely a good idea, IF the price ain't a buzzer.

For certain games I probably would if the price was decent
