My 2nd system just died and I was wondering something. Will I receive one of those new systems with "Falcon" or whatever it's called? I don't know much about this whole thing, but I was wondering if I'm going to get a newer system. Do the newer ones run cooler or something? Has anyone received a system within the last few weeks with a recent MFR date? I want to be ensured that the system I get will last me a long time and has a better chance of lasting me a long time.
If anyone can clarify and help me out, I'd appreciate it.
Bump. I just want to know if I should expect my refurb to have a recent MFR date and if it should run better and have less of a chance of dying than the older ones.

I doubt that M$ would be putting falcon chips for free. They probably will charge you, just like they charge on everything.
Alright, thanks. I just hope that the system I get doesn't overheat, get the RROD, or have any disk drive problems since those seem to be the most common problems. I just want a system that works flawlessly.
