So, I just got a refurb back from Microsoft and today is the first day I have played a game instead of watching a movie. It is extremely loud, and quite hot. It is horizontal, but I elevated it with hockey pucks so there is air flow in the bottom. There also is really no room to put it vertically. Would one of the new intercoolers work, or should I try something else? Plus, my entertainment center is below the AC unit.

well put it close to a open window in the shade, and call M$ that way you'll get to atleast beat the Halo3campaign before returning it.
