Resident Evil 5 a lot better than I though it would be......

After all the negativity surrounding the launch of Re5, I held off getting it and just picked it up yesterday because of a lack of AAA titles coming out as of late. To be honest I'm really loving it, i guess without all of the hype and actually the complaints i've read, it lowered my expectations and I'm enjoying it for what it is (a top tier action game), instead of what it could have been.

I'm enjoying this game quite a bit myself. Which I didn't think I would as I didn't like any of the other Resident Evil games. (Not big on the survival horror genre.)

I have the strangest feeling that if this didn't have the Resident Evil name on it people would have enjoyed it a whole lot more.

I guess I'm one of those whiners. The game would be great if they just made a new IP out of it. RE was in the survival horror genre so its just another action game. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to rent it.

The game is wicked fun. I picked it up a day or 2 after release and played the hell out of it. Got all retail acheivements. To bad the MP I payed for only got played 1 time.....for 5min.....
