Resident Evil 5 Hot or Not

Ok, Resident Evil 5 has finally been released. Yes the game has changed over the last 10years. But have Capcom made a right move? I think RE5 is great, and yes i do miss the day of fixed camera's and great horror but the game has moved from Survival Horror to Action for the casual gamers. Many RE fans will be dissapointed but deep down this game is a must have.

I personally don't think the RE franchise will stay this way. As they said before they will have to re invent the series again with RE 6 and I think they will go back to the real survival-horror. They needed the more action oriented RE 5 to finish off the story with a big bang (or with many big bangs). But I am sure they will realise from reviews and from the gamers that while it was a brilliant action game, people were generally disappointed with how the they strayed too far from what defied a genre.

But to answer your question it is HOT

Capcom has changed the concept from the original survival-suspense-puzzle that made RE a reference point and a classic piece. Nevertheless is a great action game, with a high level of detailsand techical Cleanliness.Possibly can be a classic, another kind of classic.

Epic Fail.

Not a big fan of this game. Just bought it, and i don't like it at all. After Dead Space this just seems outdated and dull.

The game is defenitely HOT! And it has one of the best co-op modes ever.

If it's fun who cares. I loved RE4 and hopefully I will feel the same way about this one. I'm sure I will. I honestly don't care if the genre has changed from survival-horror to action. It's still somewhat scary and you want to survive while having action packed zombies battles (idc what they are really called). In my eyes it's still a horror game but with more action, you make it what you want to make it.

huh, it's out already??? dayum, i'm living in a hole. next to Elder Scrolls 5, this has been my most anticipated release....please don't be crap. is it at least keeping in line with RE4 with juiced up graphics and dialogue, cuz for me, that's all Capcom needed to do.

I want my fixed camera, no ammo, why are there 3 hunters in this room, thank god a red herb, holy crap a tyrant, moments back.

(and maybe real life cut secens with the worst acting ever seen) res evil one im looking in your direction.
