Well you're in the Xbox forum, the first thing you should know about the 360 is RTS games dont' work very well on it. Aside from that, I don't know too many games that focus on the American Revolution or French/Indian war, though you may be able to find something on PC.

The reason why you rarely see games that take place prior to world war 2 is because guns weren't all that effective at longer ranges till then.

If you have a powerful PC you can go for Empire: Total War. It's a fantastic game, but it will eat all but the beefiest computers alive. I think it even has a scenario mode that allows you to play as the Americans from the starting point of Revolutionary War and grow the country as you see fit. If not that, Age of Empires III (also on the PC) is a fantastic colonial age RTS and one of my favorite games ever. It doesn't include a specific war reenactment, but all of the weapons and things like that are authentic (muskets, cavalry, etc.). On the Xbox, though, I am afraid you are out of luck. Sorry, hope this helps.

Those are set a LONG time after the Revolutionary War and the French and Indian War, my friend. Like about 100 years or so. The places where those games take place weren't even part of the country at the point this guy is interested in....
