Ring of Death?!!

I played a game (Saint Row) for 30 minutes, when suddenly the operating button showed 3 red light (the lights except the top right one) and then the screen turned to black. Therefore I turned off the console. After one minute I turned it on (just to check) and it worked fine (without the red lights). After some time I played the box for 2 hours and it worked fine.

I heard comments in forums that the problem calls the death ring, and that if it strikes once it will strike again, and many people said that they can't play because after half a hour their xbox shows the death ring and freeze.

My xbox room was hot and in stupidity radiator was in this room.

I don't know what to do, because if it is the death ring, I prefer to sell it. Would it appear again and do I can fix it (people says the problem fixing isn't very affective because the problem returns).
