Go to best buy, buy a pro, buy the replacement plan, if the xbox dies again you go in the same day and get a new one.holhardy
that's what i did. Had to replace it last month, not a single problem when bringing it back and getting the new one. the warranty is totally worth the fifty bucks or whatever it was

do they take the hard drive?lol red lights, wow
Anyway you will get over it, I have had a banned 360 from live, Red Lighted 360 and Im on my third one. So chill.
P.S the only reason i got the red lights was the power brick was different from the original one I was using before.(Swapped Power Bricks= Dead 360.)
hey here's a quick tip that might work.
i just had the red ring of death a few days ago for no reason. i keep my 360 very steady and don't move it around too often.
so i know i couldn't have broken it. i've found a way around this problem by holding my 360 in my hands without the disc inside or wires connected and shoke it very hard up and down. i did that a few times and the rrod seems to happen because of loose part or bad soldering(what i've read from researching around the web). so why won't you try shaking your 360 really hard but don't let go of it =). I don't know if this will fix the problem but it allows you to play again.
my results(i only shook it about three times) so far is random freezes or rrod. if so i shake it again. otherwise the rrod disappeared and works ok so far.
just a tip so try it out if you like.
Actually Microsoft extended all 360 warranties regarding the RROD to three years, so buying a Best Buy warranty would be a big waste of money. Just send it in to Microsoft.ezralcI liked the idea of getting it back the same day, thats why I got the bestbuy warranty. I just hope they won't give me a hard time about the hard drive. If they do I will probably ask to speak the the manager and I'll leave the hard drive at home.
lol how do u get banned..... u must of really tried to get bannedlol red lights, wow
