I love this tracklist, has all the rock I like which isn't a lot
The interesting part of RB2's list is it appeals to everyone at some level. And while you play the game you get introduced the other classics and genres and expand your tastes a bit... And if you don't want any part of that, you can just download what you want. Add in the fact it has a feature to help you play what you want and when you want to... yeah, RB2's playlist is killer. 500+ songs by year end... sure makes me think I'm going to need a lot more MS points.
Man... I love the new setlist... LOVE the fact that you can use your old downloads, and absolutely LOVE the fact that you can "Sync" most of the songs from the first into the second... With that in mind, that means I will have about 300 songs in Rock Band 2... The only problem I have with Rock Band 2 is NO LED ZEPPELIN!!! I was sooo dissapointed watching the Microsoft E3 Press Conference, when they said... "Your asked for it, you got it! We are going to have... AC/DC in Rock Band 2". AC/DC is a great band, and it was deffinatly noticably absent in the first Rock Band, but in those few seconds of pause I was like... |-| E |_ |_ YEAH! LED ZEPPELIN! Only to be dissapointed with AC/DC. Why does Led Zeppelin have to be so picky about who they let use their music? It almost makes me wish they were all dead, so we could use their music without having to ask.........

It's a great list! but doesn't blow me out of the water (none the less great) I just wish games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band would have bands that are a little less popular then big names like Linkin Park and AC/DC. Bands like Skindred, August Burns Red and Evergreen Terrace. I am aware they have had some of these less popular bands but I do wish they would have a little more focus on them instead of these HUGE bands that are already popular enough. But with that aside I think that Rock Band 2 has one amazing list that beats the first one (just my opinion of course)
EHH im not really impressed at all with the setlist, about 95% of it is crap. alot of it isnt even rock. theres some good stuff in it. to tell you the truth its pretty dissapointing. Im sticking with GH without a doubt after seein that list
one of the best lists i've seen. disappointed they don't have any of the rolling stones or iron maiden though, and that they put in Panic at the Disco, that's one song i'll never play :P
I wonder how many people have actually listened and recognize all the songs from the list... Sure there were 10 or so I knew outright, but after youtubing all of them and listening to them there were a lot more songs I did know, just not by title or artist. With a list of so much variety I think they have done a great job. and the DLC is where you can make sure you get what you really want anyhow. Anyone that thinks the list is crap though probably should question their musical tastes... or expand their listening options a bit.
