Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour?

I have guitar hero 3 and loved it but got bored after playing all the songs. I always went to my friend's to play rock band and loved world tour. Now for christmas i cant decide rock band or guitar hero? Please help, and give a good reason no fanboy rants...

Personally I'll be getting both. Which one I actually buy the bundle for all depends on Rock Band 2's drumkit. If it looks nicer then GH:WT's then I'll get it. But with all of the original rock band's songs and DLC 100% backwards compatible, Rock Band 2 wins hands down for me.

As for which you should get, check out the song lists. Decide.

That's fair. Then buy Rock Band now, download whatever songs sound good to you, then get Rock Band 2 for x-mas. That way you can have a possible 500 songs by December.

Not a whole lot is known about GH's setlist.. as far as I know anyways.

the presentation and overall design of rockband is much better and more enjoyable...imo. im sticking with Rockband 2, but i wont be getting the bundle...just the game (have the stuff from the first game). chex81

Well If You think that Guitar Hero a sell-out francise that pushed harmonix the creators of the first 2 guitarheros away and if you want that rock band rip off go and buy it as for the instuments I can use a differnt guitar

idk how you could say that rockband 2 is going to be better than GH WT after watching these videos. for the ppl saying there going to get rockband 2 just got they dont want to buy new stuff i think is the wrost reason to pick that game. all rockband 1 stuff sucked so bad and the guitar really sucked. everybody i know used there GH2 and GH3 guitars. the only thing rockband 2 has on GH WT is more songs but the can be OWNED by the fact that you can make your on song in GH WT

I'd have to go with Rock Band 2.

Rock Band 1 was great group game and highly entertaining. Most of my experiences of GH3 invovle becoming extremely frustrated and hand cramps.
