Music..LOL.I would of rather had this last year instead of the stupid Beetles that's for dang sure.I really hope that they really change up the instuments.Being able to back up sing would be good also. There is alot more that I would like to see in RB3,but i'm not listing them all now .
I'm excited to see what features they plan on including in their third title. Rock Band hasn't let me down yet.
I would like to see more metal and screamo songs, seems as though you don't need to scream to sing the song.
first no one on here is yo bro... sorry... second do you really need other rock band? same thing over over... why won't they just die and they stick to dlc ooom because they can put any song on it and make you pay $60 so you can't nicpick
I completely agree with you. I've enjoyed every iteration that they have released so far. Thank you Harmonix for not putting out crappy games.I'm excited to see what features they plan on including in their third title. Rock Band hasn't let me down yet.

did you play beatles rock band? you know it had harmonies, right?
anyway, i'm looking forward to this. i can't imagine what other directions they'd take it in graphically. i thought they would just release DLC for RB2 forever.
Finally! As much as I like the idea of games based on full bands, I've been waiting for Rock Band 3 forever. As long as the DLC carries over, I'll buy it.
I really hate the sub-par quality of the Hero franchise... sure they may have started it, but since Rock Band came out... the Hero franchise has failed to do this type of game even remotely as well. This is awesome news, and I'm much more excited to see the innovation than I am about any paticular type of music in the song list.... especially considering that the devs basically said, in an interview about half a year ago I think, that they will take their time on the next sequel because they want to truly progress the genre. That boils down to innovation and new concepts, which from these guys, should be awesome. While hero just keeps pumping out the same garbage with the next consecutive number behind it, Rock Band is trying to bring us a truly improved experience.
I really hope they put more modern songs on it rather than classic rock and stuff. It won't happen, but I can hope.
Either way, I'm probably not going to get it. XD
The only way I'll buy is if the drums finally come with the cymbals.Kojo222Agree!! And it better have 5 pads in total. None of this kiddy 4 pad bull!

I have always felt guitar hero as much more superior then rock band. What difficulty do you play the guitar and drums?

do you really think because it has 4 pads it's not difficult? rock band is still hard. guitar hero is harder if you're playing expert+, but for guitar hero 5, i pretty much cake walked the drums on expert. rock band 2 took me some time.

I never said it wasn't difficult but I don't see how the most difficult song on Guitar Hero could be easier then the most difficult song on Rock Band 2. I'm guessing you started on Rock Band 2 which is why it was harder then moved on to Guitar Hero 5 after you already got skill on Rock Band 2? Obviously 5 pads and two kick pedals has more potential to be harder then 4. Does Rock Band 2 even have dual kick pedal songs? I know you can get dual kick pedals for the rock band kit but does the game even make use of it by throwing double kick parts at you? From what I remember playing it I never saw any double kick parts. Its been awhile since I played it though.[QUOTE="Kojo222"]The only way I'll buy is if the drums finally come with the cymbals.dan_plus_oAgree!! And it better have 5 pads in total. I definitely agree with what you were saying about the 4 pad drums still managing to be hard... and yeah, it is just my opinion, but I find my opinion to be accurate 100% of the time (that was a joke, opinions can't really be "accurate"). I play hard guitar (expert on scattered songs) on GH, but I haven't really given it much playtime since GH3 because of my distaste for their lack-luster execution of their full-band games. On RB2 I'm pretty much same way, I can dabble in expert on guitar... but I do expert all the time on bass simply because it's rare that a song will jump up and bite you on RB2 bass... and I usually play hard on drums with a very small selection of songs that I can play on expert.

At least Rock Band doesn't throw out a billion games like GH has done. You have to remeber that Rock Band started the whole full band thing and are the best at it. I'm sure they will come up with some bad ass stuff. I just wanna some more Rush on there. Please let there be more Rush!

Regardless if you like the Beatles or not, give respect where it's due. The Beatles are an awesome band who helped shape music. Also...learn how to spell "The Beatles."

I totally agree.
Hero Franchise:
>Guitar Hero I
>Guitar Hero II
>Guitar Hero III
>Guitar Hero World Tour
>Guitar Hero V
>Guitar Hero Rocks the '80s
>Guitar Hero Smash Hits
>Guitar Hero Van Halen
>Guitar Hero Aerosmith
>Guitar Hero Metallica
>DJ Hero
>Band Hero
and then there is all those versions for phones and handhelds
Rock Band Franchise:
>Rock Band 1
>Rock Band 2
>Beatles Rock Band
>Rock Band 3
I much prefer quality over quantity
Agreed. All I really think the game needs is a visual upgrade, more instrument/character customization and a few other ancillary thingsI'm excited to see what features they plan on including in their third title. Rock Band hasn't let me down yet.
