Rock Band Freezing PROBLEM

Hey can somebody please help me with this?

I was playing Rock Band last week and it froze while the game was auto-saving. Now my 360 is screwed and i got teh red ring of death and my console freezes after a few minutes.

Now i lent Rock Band to my friend and its freezing on him ( but he doesnt get the red ring).

Anybody know whats going on??

Can you play other games than rock band? If so then it's the disc, if not then just send the 360 in.
