Ok I know these two games are not the same type and very different but I'm trying to decide which one to get. I've been playing GH3 pretty much nonstop for the past 2 weeks after starting to play it again since my guitar broke. I've been getting good at it, but the songs are getting old so I thought Rockband would be a good game aswell. However GTA also comes out tomorrow. I've always been a fan of the GTA series and have basically every game in the franchise. I've read both games are good, but which one would be better to get while waiting for enough money to get the other? Thanks for all comments.
That is a really tough call. Both games are/going to be great. Rock Band is a million times better than Guitar Hero 3. I would probably say GTA IV as you will get a ton of play time out of it, even though that is true for Rock Band as well. I think the GTA multiplayer is gonna be huge and everyone is gonna be playing it for a long time.

I'll have to agree. I'll say for sure after I play GTA4. I haven't been a HUGE fan of GTA, bu this addition to the series looks fantastic, imho. :)
its hard to compare the 2 games, but it comes down to personal preference, a rythm game or a sandbox game. IMO i love rythm games, and i love rockband so id pick rockband
well it depends what u like if u like listening and playing songs like a band then get the full rock band bundle. If you like killing people and shooting them in the head with snipers then i would get GTA
Seriously? Well it depends really, (I don't know why you would compair them in the first place)
As Value goes, im sure you will get more than your moneys worth with both. But keep in mind GTA4 is $60 while Rock Band is alot more, but your getting more than a game. I personally would get GTA4, because I already have GH3 and my friends don't really like rhythum games, and playing Rock Band alone defeats the purpose IMHO.
i'll own both as soon as i pick my GTA up at midnight, rock band is a great game, with downloadable songs/albums every tuesday you can continue building ur song library and it never gets old, but my answer is i think if u can u should get both, if not then gta
