I was at best buy at black friday and i saw a lot of people playing rock band, but i noticed a problem. the tv seemed to lag a lot and have a really low frame rate to the game. It seemed to be really choppy and it looked really ugly. I have a 1080p hdtv so i think i should be ok if i buy it, but does that frame rate only show up on the best buy tv's or is it universal?

i'm sure its only on the demo that you saw

i have yet to experience and lag/choppy framerate

as comparable to GH2, both have zero framerate issues

It runs awesome on my 360, so I doubt you will have a problem. I've had all four instruments running for a few hours at a time and not encountered any lag.

Will some HDTVs do induce lag but Rockband has that covered. You can set which TV mode in the game menus. Just know if you're TV is projection, Plasma, LCD, or CRT. It's better than Guitar Hero's manual TV settings.
