Uhmmm you can for Rock Band 2.. not for GH World Tour.Andrex1212
Yea, I'm pretty sure you could use them for Rock Band 2. Not so sure about GH world tour cause doesnt the GH world tour drumset have five drums? I dont see how that would work. I think the mic and the guitar from rock band would work on GH world tour, i don't see why not.
Knowing how things turned out with GH3 compatibility and based on some stuff that Harmonix said, yes RB1 equipment is forward-compatible (fact), no it won't work with GH4 (speculation).
This question was cleared up today during the E3 interviews with GH devs. Thank goodness the decision was made to make the peripherals compatible. That's right, you can use RB stuff in GH:WT, it also appears that support will go out to RB2 peripherals. I haven't heard yet if RB2 will support all the GH:WT stuff yet... but we will see. --------- To the first guy that said "sure they are, other wise we would have all sorts of fake peripherals all over the place..." - I kind of laughed. Last week it looked bleak in this regard. I'm glad to see the competition though finally came to a concensous. For more info check out my comparision of features and what not in my blog. Sorry, bad plug, but I have spent a lot of time on it and figure it is worth sharing. (follow the sig link)

GH:WT people said they fixed the drums to detect a 4 pad drum kit and merge the 5th note as necessary (into the 4 notes) for compatibility.
