the rock band 2 setlist is terrible. GH: World Tour looks so much better.FierceWarrior
gotta say, QFE. I love my 80's metal, and RB2 had some good ones, but not much. here's to GHWT, create-a-song and unlimited Iron Maiden.

Nothing compared to Rock Band 2. Ill probably still get Gh4 for the Music Creator, but ONLY if the rumors that Rock Band instruments will work on Guitar Hero 4.
the rock band 2 setlist is terrible. GH: World Tour looks so much better.FierceWarriorLmfao, thats hilarious. Gh4's setlist sucks. It really does, plus RB2 has almost twice the songs as Gh4 AND Rock Band DLC support is uncomparable to ANY game released so far.

I have to say... I have no idea. I just hope the competition keeps bringing us better instruments & bigger setlists.
I do have to mention. Until today I was set that I would only buy RB2 since I've invested in buying well over $100 in DLC. With the announcement of the MIDI input in the GHWT drum kit, I've completely shifted gears. Now, I'm buying both. I have a nice roland td-12, and I am going to totally slay both games using that input! I can't wait. With the cross-compatibility of the kit to RB, it means I don't need a home brew hack to play either game with my real kit. 100% Stoke.

It's funny you mention the competition aspect of this... just think about the jumps that they have made to one up each other for such a young frachise. Instruments get better (and not just a little better), bigger set lists with more master tracks, insane DLC support, and huge gameplay innovations (making youru own music, etc). This rivalry is frankly so good for the consumer it doesn't matter which side of the camp your on, thank the other. Madden has shown us what happens to a franchise without competition and rock band and guitar hero show us what happens to a franchise with lots of it!
the rock band 2 setlist is terrible. GH: World Tour looks so much better.FierceWarriorI think the setlist looks weak too; however, the GH setlist hasn't even been revealed so I can't say that it looks any better. I think RB will be better for me, simply because I already have 110 downloaded songs...
Personally I think they both will suck. Get a real instrument.DireStraits101And what am I suppose to do with that? Get life skills or something? No I will never be in a real band or be good enough to be in a real band. That sounds like a worse investment than playing a video game.
