EBgames.com says thats the price for the special edition which comes with the drum kit that can be used in real life
I don't want that but there is no option for a seperate 169.99 version with normal drums or anything...what the hell. Are they gonna make me spend another 20 bucks for something I don't want? aka the ion drum set.
the standard one has an MIDI port as well... it's just not nearly as fancy as the "real-life" kit you are thinking of. Those bundles include the standard drum kit sans cymbols (which are an add on as well)
The ion drum set is upwards of $200 I believe all by itself, maybe someone in the know can nail down the price.

yeah, but I'm not 100% sure that they released an offical price point as of yet, so that may change. Seems reasonable to me though, thats what RB1 cost.
the 189.99 one is the one with the full 8 button drum set. if you dont want that buy the Game for 59.99 and the drum set for 69,99 or something like that. but who wouldnt want a full electronic drum set for that price

no that is not true... harmonix stated that the bundle includes the 4 drum + pedal drum set. You have the option to buy spearate cymbols to attach to the kit. It has a MIDI port on the drum kit unlike the orginal kit for RB1.

What do you mean the drums you can use in real life? The game comes with a disc, guitar, microphone and drums? That would be a cheap-ass real drumset.TM_Darkside
i already got what i need for rockband, i aint gettin the bundle again, maybe the game just for some new songs... Rock band looks dissapointing, im gettin GHWT, new guitar, drums look more realistic than the 4 pad thing rock band has going on.

You guys need to pay attention to things like E3. This is the ONLY person who knows what was said by Harmonix. It was also stated in an article on either txb or ign. FWI the price is ten dollars more than the RB1, and is the same price as GH World Tour.
idk how you could say that rockband 2 is going to be better than GH WT after watching these videos. for the ppl saying there going to get rockband 2 just got they dont want to buy new stuff i think is the wrost reason to pick that game. all rockband 1 stuff sucked so bad and the guitar really sucked. everybody i know used there GH2 and GH3 guitars. the only thing rockband 2 has on GH WT is more songs but the can be OWNED by the fact that you can make your on song in GH WT
