Depends on what you want, because the only difference I see between the two is that in RB2, you have a massive track library already in place. For GH:WT, you have the ability to create tracks. Depending on what you want more, that would be your answer.
EDIT: I plan on getting RB2, but use GH:WT instruments.
Idk if rock band lets you use GH's instruments... can someone confirm this? Otherwise you can just buy one game and only get the software for the other.
I don't know which one I want more but I look at it this way. I LOVE Rockband and Rockband 2 it only get's better. Although, I am not biased on either franchise So i'm going to pick Guitar Hero: World Tour up and see how I like it. If I don't like it i'll pick up Rockband the game itself and go on. I'm not made of money but 60$ then and 60$ at christmas isn't too much :D
well rock band 2 i would prefer because guitar hero world tour u will have to buy all the instruments again for ghwt (rumour) and i have checked the song list of both of them and rock band 2
If your looking for a lot of songs to play on go for Rock Band 2. If you want a custom soundtrack than go for Guitar hero World Tour, but I suggest you get Rock band 2 because you will have improved instruments and softer drums pads, also there are many selections of songs. By the end of the year they annouced there will be over 500 songs which is amazing. But you don't have to take my advice , it's definetly your choice.
