1. Your router needs to be connected to a PC so that you can access and change settings.
2. The problem may not be your router. It may be your ISP or the cable modem.
3. Turn off your 360. Try unpluggung your cable modem and your router for 30 seconds. Plug the modem back in and wait for it to boot and initialize. Then plug the modem back in and allow it to boot. Then turn on the 360.
or try this, have your router hooked up to your pc, go to your internet explorer. have it opened. now click on the start icon on the bottom left of the screen then click run, then type in cmd into that box and hit enter.
a dos command prompt should open up, now type in ipconfig
it will list some numbers and what not, write down the default gateway.
now go back to your internet browser and put that gateway into the address bar with nothing else. it should ask you for a username and password, which will typically be admin/admin meaning admin for both the username and password, then browse around in their (dont save anything) until you find your ip your pulling along with the dns you are pullin.
write down both the primary and secondary dns. then go to your 360 network settings and hardcode those dns as static dns (manual) dns, put those numbers in there and viola you shoulndt have that problem anymore.
hope that helps manor try this, have your router hooked up to your pc, go to your internet explorer. have it opened. now click on the start icon on the bottom left of the screen then click run, then type in cmd into that box and hit enter.
