RPG like FF?

Are there any games out right now for the 360 like Final Fantasy? I was going to get Oblivion but because the whole game would take a while to beat I figured I would just wait until Mass Effect. Right now im looking for an RPG that is similar to the Final Fantasy games, are there any out right now? thanks guys

Blue Dragon is generic and FFXI will eat your wallet whole. I mean chasing bees wtf? Go for Lost Odyssey or Eternal Sonata when it comes out.magic_dragon

hey final fantasy 11 may have been expensive but it was extremly fun when it first came out it was like an online beta of oblivion

Theres Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata. I played the demo for Blue Dragon and it was kinda boring. Nice graphics but same old gameplay. Got mostly 6 and 7s out of 10s for most reviews with biggest complaint being its boring story and slow pacing (except for the end). I played the demo for Eternal Sonata too and I liked that one a bit more. The gameplay was different and an interesting mix of real time and turn based RPG elements. Most reviews have been in the 8 out of 10 range.

Both demos are on Xbox Live so I suggest downloading them and making your own conclusions before you buy.
