RRoD Questions Pls read!

So my launch 360 finally dies. I'm tracking it to the repair center through UPS and I'm wondering how long it took some of you to get it back. What kind of 360 do they replace it with? A refurbished one? A new one? Mine with new parts? I'm worried that the fact it finally died they will just repair it and send the same faulty one back to die on me again. I need answers. Thanks.

well it took them a month to get my 360 and give me a new one. Since I bought my 360 from best buy they have this policy that they must prove that the 360 is 100% unrepairable before they give you a new one. If you deal with MS directly it takes about a 3-8 weeks.

And btw this will get locked. However the Halo vs. gameXXX never seem to.

Pretty much everyone i know had to send theirs in. I think the avg. time frame for them was about 30-45 days.
