I just rrod'd not thirty seconds ago, turned it immediatley off, restarted it about ten seconds later and now it's fine. I dod nothing to it it just went away. is that normal? will it happen again???
You can get the 3 red lights if your power flickers out for a moment (often during a lightning storm). So if theres some reason that might of happened then that might be why you saw it. Otherwise it will likely come back.

i got rrod like 2 weeks ago, i did the same i unpluged it and restarted it and it works fine and still do's, but i think i had a fault with the electricks or something as my tv and everything whent as well for a second.
Yeah, mine RRod'd when the power went out (weird because it wasnt even storming) but then it just went away and started working again. I nearly flipped because I was on vacation at the time so I couldnt send it in! Then again I didnt really play it that much because i was on vacation so it ouldnt have been that bad!
yeah I nearly had a heartattack when the powerflickered once while playing on the 360 and it reset with the 3 red lights. Resetting it fixed the problem.
However 2 weeks ago I got RRoD for real, I let it sit for a few hours then turning it back on helped for a bit but it did eventually break back down. So if you really did get RRoD then expect it to break down again in a matter of hours, if not then it was probably just a power fluctuation.

yesterdary there was a lighting storm and i got the RROD so i called them. and it RROD'd 2 times within 15 mins.. havent turned it on yet ill see if you are right..
