Rumored Modern warfare 2 map pack?

A rumor has been going around for a little while and supposedly, there is going to be a new map pack containing Crash, Crossfire, and Shipmentfrom Cod4. Does anybody know anythingabout this rumored map pack?

As long as they're free. I heard a map pack isn't to be expected till spring.

if they where coming to mw2 they would need to be remade to help people camp more. god forbid you cant spend the game behind a barrel in a hallway

My main thing is that weapons are way unbalanced still. More maps would be nice. I believe there is only 3 maps I don't vote these days.

The "NEW" Map Pack was already complete before MW2 was even released,So who knows what it would be but i wouldn't mind if IW added the COD4 maps into the mix as long was we don't have to pay extra for them.

Are you serious? Ha, ok. I've heard of fanboyism but this is ridiculous, you're really going to sit there and just ignore all the flaws this game had?

It is possible to be a fan and criticize the product. It doesn't make you a hater or someone who sucks at the game, but this is the internet and whenever a game gets criticism it's apparently either one of those, sometimes both.

If IW did do a redo on a CoD 4 map pack for MW2, the maps that would work resonably for the Killstreaks would be Overgrown, Creek and Ambush and even they would need to be reworked to make them a bit bigger. But Id prefer that IW just leave CoD 4 maps in the past and give us brand new ones for DLC!!

The fact that Wasteland is one of the better maps in this game yet the worst in COD2 is a telling sign of the quality of the maps that shipped with MW2. They need to issue some map packs asap (and not charge $10 for them, which will never happen).

They still haven't fixed the matchmaking. Which is the biggest problems for us Australian and International gamers.
